Testimonials

The Knotty Log is the epitome of what you expect in a service provider! I had been looking for a carpenter/woodworker to build a blanket chest for extra storage. Most of the contacts provided never returned my call. I found them through an internet search. I received a response within a day. They listened to what I wanted, provided designs and a very reasonable time frame for the finished product while working around my schedule!! Thanks to The Knotty Log- so love my blanket chest!!!

Sent Brad a picture of our existing dinning room table via text message and he built a custom bench for the dinning room and he matched it *perfectly* and it turned out perfectly! He does such quality custom woodwork!!!

Awesome experience working with Brad! I had a vision for the table I wanted and he brought it to life in an even better way than I was imagining. I’m definitely looking forward to working with him again!

Had a great experience. Brad took the time to listen to my vision, designed a 3d model, so I could see what the finished product would look like. I thought it was a great way to ensure both Brad and I were on the same page before the build process began. The shadowbox tables exceeded my expectations!

Our Story

The Knotty Log’s owner, Brad found his passion for woodworking soon after he and his girlfriend Colleen moved into a new home. Brad has always loved to cook and acquired quite a large variety of spices and seasonings. Colleen planned to go to Bed, Bath, and Beyond to buy a spice rack, but in the typical male fashion, Brad boldly claimed that he could build one! That ugly little spice rack sparked a passion in Brad that still burns powerfully today. Since then, Brad honed his skills building furniture and small craft items that he would sell to finance purchasing more tools and dive deeper into the craft. When Colleen and Brad got married, Brad decided to take his passion from a unique hobby to a full time occupation. Thus, the Knotty Log was born.
